General terms and conditions

1. General
Our customers are expected to accept the terms and conditions when ordering.
We will ensure punctual and fluent delivery. In case of unexpected circumstances which might affect delivery we reserve the right to end the sale without any form of compensation.

2. Prices

Basically our prices are valid for 1 year from the day they are published. Some prices may be altered (beyond our will) because of an unforeseen rise in manufacturing costs or unfavourable rates of exchange.
Catalogue prices and advertised prices are legally valid.
In case of price differences only the prices in our shop are valid.
All our prices are VAT exclusive

3. Delivery

For home deliveries over 25 km we charge € 50.
Delivery times are indicative and cannot give cause to either termination of the sale or any compensation to the benefit of the buyer.

4. Terms of payment

The usual term of payment is 30 days after date of invoice
The goods remain  in the ownership of the seller until the total amount of the goods  has been paid.
All bank costs are at buyer’s expense. All payments must be in euro.
Payments can be made by bank transfer.
A 2% discount is granted for payment within 8 days.
Non- payment of the invoice before the due date will result in 12% interest on arrears on a yearly basis with a minimum of € 25 administrative costs.

5. Cancellation

In case of cancellation Vema will be entitled to a 30% compensation of the total amount.
All advance payments will be deducted.

6. Warranty

The usual warranty is applied to every manufacturing defect and damage on delivery.

7. Complaints

Complaints about delivery will only be accepted if they are made in writing within seven days after delivery. If the buyer does not comply with this he is believed by the seller to accept the goods.
Under no circumstances will goods be taken back. Only articles showing a clear manufacturing defect will be taken back.

8. Disputes

We are authorized to suspend all deliveries in the event of non-payment of the invoice on the due date. If we think it fit, we can break all agreements with the buyer who does not pay or pays too late.
Possible advance payments remain with us,  the only formality to be accomplished by us is to inform the buyer of this arrangement.
These terms shall be governed by the law of Belgium.
All disputes will be kept at the Commercial Court in Brussels
